The Dead Guy

By Eric Coble

Regional Premiere

In 2005 Stages was proud to host one of the first public readings of The Dead Guy. Now we're thrilled to bring you this high-tech, multimedia production featuring an onstage TV camera with live video feed, original music by Chris Bakos, and videography by Tim Thomson.

The pitch: Give a good-looking loser one million dollars to spend in seven days. The catch: It will be his final week on Earth. The hook: It all gets broadcast on national television. The best part: The TV audience gets to vote on how he dies! Does America have the stomach for this much reality? Find out in this hilarious dark comedy, packed with Eric Coble's trademark blend of humor and satire.

April 5 - 23, 2006

Directed by Kenn McLaughlin
Featuring Joanne Bonasso, Dwight Clark, Elena Coates, Adrianne Kipp, Michael Mullins and Brandon Peters
